Title: Harpo
Post by: alerich on December 23, 2014, 12:07:39 pm
I saw the puppy thread and thought I would share. This is Harpo. He is a Blue Tipped Ragdoll. He's about three years old. My girlfriend's daughter adopted him off of Craigslist. He is the sweetest, most docile cat in the world. He's not much of a herder. He's not even much of a mouser. He pretty much just eats, sleeps and sits at the window watching the bird feeders... daydreaming about how tasty one of those finches might be. While my Marshall Mini got his seal of approval as a cat perch he is not a music lover. If he sees me coming with a guitar he runs for cover.

Pretty kitty! Our poor cat had no window to look out.   :icon_biggrin:

Cool kitty!  I have a bunch of bird feeders out on the deck.  We call it bird TV for our cats!

He's a great cat. His previous owners were an older couple who already had a couple of older cats who were a little too frail for Harpo's occasionally playful nature and they also had seniority. They found a good home for Harpo. My girlfriend's Shih Tzu Millie is perfectly capable of defending herself. Those little dogs are built like tanks and are deceptively strong and fast. It took a couple months for the two of them to iron out their differences but now they get along pretty well. Every once in a while Harpo will take a swipe at her but she'll set him straight post haste. Luckily, he can jump up and she can't.

Of the three of you, I'm trying to figure out who is keeping who warm! :icon_biggrin:
