Title: Just bought Los Lobos tickets!

At the Raue theater, same place we saw them last year!       :happy1:

BUT this time 5th row, center section (3 section main floor), left side of section (facing the stage) 3rd and 4th seat in from the isle!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (Only 2 people's feet to step on if you have to go to the bathroom.  :l2:  )

(If you want to see a right handed guitarist's hands sit to the left of center.  :wink:   )

Theater only seats 750!!!!!!

Listen to this, remember Mitch Rider and the Detroit Wheels, 'Jenny take a Ride'?   

Same groove, but David Hidalgo (lead guitar/lead singer) is playing a Mexican button accordion with the sax doubling David's line. Cesar wrote the song and normally plays 2nd lead and sings 2nd to David but this is Cesar's and he is NO slouch and it's his song. Hard to find a double punch band with 2 lead singers/2 lead guitarists/2 song writers in the same band, plus a KILLER rhythm section and a KILLER SAX man!

I remember Mitch Ryder and his great cover of "Rock and Roll".

Glad you got tickets, it WILL be a great show.  Wonder if you will hear more strats than tele's? :l2:

Yeah, I guess I got a little excited about buying the tickets?   :l2:        :happy1:

Both Cesar and David have played a variety of different guitars through the years.

Last time David played a Tele for most of the show and a Les Paul. Cesar played a, hmmmm  :think1:, can't remember if it was a Les Paul and a 335 or a Strat or all 3?    :laugh:

I like them both best on a Strat then Gibson's. I like David's tone the least of any of his guitars with the Tele.

two guitarists are member of tito and tarantula. before that they were the los cruzados and the plugz.
