Title: 5725 pentode
Post by: tubenit on January 15, 2015, 05:44:26 am
Anyone built an amp using this 5725 tube?  And if so,  ........... how'd you like it?

Looking at ebay,  they seem to go for $3-$5 range.  Might be another nice alternative to the 5879?

There are some soundclips here of one using a 5725 in V1:

There are quite a few amps built with the 5725 over at the Wattkins forum, look up the Thrifty, Pushy, Tone Dawg Croaker, etc.
