Title: Mig-50 & Princeton Reverb review
Post by: Jim Coash on January 22, 2015, 12:21:44 pm
Greetings:  Both of my amp projects are now back home in their respective cabinets.  My son and I played them yesterday with bass and guitar.  We used the Ampeg B-15N cabinet I re-fitted with an E/V-15G with the Sovtek and it sounds great.  The new controls make a big difference and those huge JJ filter caps tightened up the bass significantly.  Input one has little high end and sounds perfect for bass, input two seems just right for guitar.  The clarity and headroom are amazing.  The Princeton Reverb cabinet sounds excellent too with a single 4 Ohm Celestion AP-4 10".  When used with the E/V it really opens up.  They are now ready to get to work in the band.  Success!  Jim
