I have built several HO and P1 type amps from ax84. I'n the middle of an October studio and TBM builds but looking to plan my next SE build. Any ideas?

Take a look at "the bonehead".
It was a recent discussion, so you won't be opening up ancient history.
DummyLoad did a lot of great work there and it should get used.

Thanks Silvergun,
I'm looking at it not. The only problem is that it will be real close in volume and sound to my October studio. The October studio is basically a plexi with 1 or 2 6SN7's for the output. I went witht the 2 6SN7's which gives me 8-10 watts.
This Bonehead may be too close in sound right now but I'll think about it. I have the iron for a single SE el34 (Hammond 125ESE) but not the double. I think what ever I do I'd like to add an active FX to the project.

I,m dialing in a PSE el84 now, the channel in the attachment is good, basically fenderish, the CF could be used for your FX, anyway Fwiw

If a clean amp is good for you and you want to go a bit "different"

Not real interested in clean but that looks cool. I actually have 2 hammond 125ESE transformers. These have worked well for me in the past. So far I'm thinking of the "bonehead" and maybe a dumble type sound.
Thanks
