Title: Stout Chassis builds
Post by: EL34 on January 28, 2015, 07:23:27 am
A guy on facebook, Gary Eugene Thompson, has built a couple cool amps into my Stout chassis

One is based on a bassman circuit and one is based on a 5E3 circuit.
Here's some demos videos

Not sure if you can view the videos if you are not a facebook member
Let me know if they play ok

Yup, they worked fine for me without even having to log into facebook.

They both sound great and that kid brings out the goods....

That Tele sounds better than any Strat I've ever heard!

He reminds me of chumlee on pawn Stars  :icon_biggrin:

Watch out, the Tele fans will be arriving soon to throw down some trash talk.

the player is Jonathon "Boogie" Long GC Kjng of blues champion in 2011, i used to haul him to the blues jam when he was a kid, and gave him a guitar when he didnt have one, great kid, the tele i put together from parts last year the pickups are from a 50th anniversary tele MIJ, they are some of the best pickups ever made for a tele, the controls and bridge plate also from the same tele, i used the locking tuners, it seems the weight of the tuners adds sustain to the guitar

I listened to the Tele clip. The young man is real good, IMO.     :bravo1:
