Title: Supro 6420 Thunderbolt
Post by: supro66 on February 02, 2015, 10:16:22 am: I built my last amp am getting long in the tooth 67 now built 2 Supro 6420 and one Fender 5e3
I am making up a CD of the full build of the Supro 6420 Free to all when done I want to pass it on so it can be copied and given to new amp builders
My first built is the [ black ] Speaker Cabinet and head the chassis can come out of the head and put in the cabinet to make a combo amp.
I like the head above the speaker that way you can adjust the sound with out going behind the amp and bending down
As you can see I did the Fender in Green

I am going to build a head cabinet for the top Chassis
my first Supro is Diode power supply the second is a Rectifier tube

Three generations the 1966 amp on the bottom

I am building a variant of this. 1 channel only with no tremolo.
