I missed meeting Gary Moore on one of my visits to the Heritage factory by only an hour. He was there to make final adjustments to his own Heritage model and iIsaw at least a dozen of them come through the set up shop over the next few years. I always hoped to find a way to get one for myself but I did wind up with a Ted Nugent H-550 and several other notable instruments. He certainly made my top 25 list. Heritage made some guitars for several great musicians. My bass was the last made by them and is actually a prototype for the truly great Chuck Jacobs model. I often saw instruments in the rack awaiting final tweaking with name tags on them. Many of them were instantly recognized as great C & W, Jazz/blues and rock stars. I felt honored just to run my hands over the same frets for a brief moment. Jim
