Title: Adventures in Marshall. TSL122 => Sluckeys dual 50
Post by: bakerlite on February 10, 2015, 09:18:20 am
Hey folks - So all the parts bar a capacitor have arrived to convert my friends TSL 122 to a dual 50 (sluckeys design) .

In the process of gutting the compnents from the old amp and offering up my components,

The hammond is considerably bigger and I will have to make some dremel adjustments to the tube socket type doghouse thing so I can mount the Pt.

First question of the build - I knew it would be close but I didn't think it would be this close from the PT to the speakers -

Does the proximity of the PT to the speakers generally throw up any issues?

thanks

Hi bakerlite, It was so tight that I had to rotate the speaker so that the corner of the PT fitted in the hole in the speaker basket. No probs

Its hard to beleive this 50w hammond is double the 100w original PT size!

It's rated for full band width.
