Title: Deluxe Reverb Tube Glow
Post by: bigkang on February 17, 2015, 11:32:51 am
I have a original 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb and I am having a problem with one of the 6V6 tubes glowing. I have tried several different tubes and they ALL glow in that socket so I`m guessing the problem isn't the tubes???Any suggestions on what to try or look for???Thanks!

You'll have to be more specific about the "glow"... All my tubes glow in all sockets of every amp.  :icon_biggrin:

Any particular color?

Im sorry it glows red as in too much current! The other 6V6/socket seems fine, and the problem stays with the socket not the tube. Thanks!

What voltages do you have on pins 3, 4, and 5 of both 6V6 sockets with tubes in?
