Has anyone ever heard of these or purchased one?

Can't find hardly any info on it. And the info I've found is in French. Google Translate isn't much help converting to English.

Seems clear enuff to me.
It's a DIY-type tube tester, pre-built. It is for *good* tubes, it does not do short-checks and other dummy work. It certainly won't tell hissy crackly or microphonic tubes. It tests at 250V max, which may not give best result if you idle tubes at 500V.

I'll suggest that if you are not sure what that page is telling you, this tester may not be what you want.

Thanks for the reply PRR,
I know what it is and does. I guess I didn't ask the question right. Has anyone purchased or used one, and if so, what's your opinion? (as far as build quality) Also, at the bottom of that ebay listing there appears to be a packaged unit that has a lot more options. Wasn't sure if there was an additional kit that could be added to build this. Since it has a microprocessor I assume that it can be programmed for more test options. I've sent RADIOELEC several emails and no response. Not gonna waste my money on it until I know what it's fully capable of. What google gave me was no where near what your link shows. Anyway, the info you provided from the other website was significantly more informative that what they provided.
