Title: Reverb is sucking my signal?!?!
Post by: hesamadman on March 25, 2015, 04:15:57 pm
I have solid state reverb installed in my 30 watt build. The reverb works, but the amp is waaay quieter than it is if I disconnect the reverb. And obviously lots less gain with the gain too. I know I shouldnt but I unhook the reverb while the amp is on (alligator clips) and its a very big difference. If I disconnect the pot ground.....all the signal comes back...and full amount of  reverb (uncontrollable obviously)

 Any thoughts?

Most likely you have some sort of bad impedance match.

I THINK i had a resistor leaning over and touching its neighbor....
