Those guys are not afraid. They will move away from an annoyance, but I am sure if you got close they would turn and peck you to pieces.

Yes, wild turkeys that become habituated to humans can be aggressive to people.  Canada geese and swans can also be aggressive.  But turkeys have sharp beaks, claws and spurs; and may go for your eyes.
