Title: Is my PT sufficient
Post by: hesamadman on May 22, 2015, 06:48:16 am
Im working on an amplifier in which utilizes a Fender Tweed Deluxe (5E3) circuit. I am using this because I have a Hammond 290ax PT. What I am trying to find out is if the PT is big enough to add one half of a 12ax7 as the modifications I made to the preamp will require 1 and a half 12ax7. My heater current should be more than enough. I am wondering about my secondary of the PT in which is 81ma

I don't have any good data sheets so maybe someone could help me out there.

+1

Hoffman's Princeton Reverb PT is rated for 70ma

With respect, Tubenit
