Title: 1957 Vibrolux Tube Chart / Lookie This!
Post by: plexi50 on June 10, 2015, 06:23:23 pm
Look at this. Do you see what i see? Looks like they miss printed the chart and used it anyway. Cool. Should show 5E11.
What does the 1 mean in the production box?

I don't know what the 1 means, but it's not that odd that guys post a picture of a Fender tube chart like yours. Leo was very frugal and used what he had to get it out the door. Gerald Weber wrote about this a # of times in his Vintage Guitar Mag. column back in the 90's. (Those column's became his books.)

He probably got a deal from the printer because they messed up.

Tube charts have been posted before with a tube # scribbled out and a new tube # hand written in.

Still very cool that the amp has come into your shop.    :icon_biggrin:
