Title: New issues
Post by: taylorc315 on June 14, 2015, 11:49:35 am
I downloaded new pics on flickr.com. it's under tra412000 password is taylor. I haven't figured out how to post the link to this site yet. My son knows more about that then I do and he's only 10. I will get it figured out and post links. I am wondering if some of the problems could be from my input/output jack wiring? I've compared to my 72 Marshall but they don't have the same jacks. All the voltages ate very similar, I am just not getting signal through the amp to the speaker.
Thanks

I apologize for the people who were following me on this link. I didn't know that there were some inappropriate pictures, my wife has cleaned up the site as I'm computer illiterate.

Thanks

Could someone please help me with the input jack wiring? I'm having trouble with the four input jack configuration. Everything I see has two wires coming from two 68ohm resistors off the board. Any help would be great.
Thanks

On this page Doug has the how to for wiring input jacks....

Notice the way the switching lugs are wired. If you just wire the jacks parallel, then the unused jacks of a given pair will short the incoming signal on the other jack to ground. That could be your issue.

On the cliff jack style could you tell me where the shielded wire to the V1 tube goes?

At the junction of the two resistors, labeled "out"

Make sure you go to the library and look at all the info there

Lots of these questions can be answered with that info
