Title: How Tube Amps Work Webpage
Post by: robrob on June 19, 2015, 09:41:20 am
I have put together a non-technical explanation of "How Tube Amps Work:" https://robrobinette.com/How_Amps_Work.htm (https://robrobinette.com/How_Amps_Work.htm)

I use the simple Fender 5F1 Champ and discuss component function and the signal flow through the layout and schematic. The layout and schematic have the same component numbers so you can see how the schematic and layout relate.

If you are interested take a look and I always invite suggestions and corrections and there's no advertising on my website.

I also have a "How the 5E3 Deluxe Works" that is a good follow on article with a little more technical detail: https://robrobinette.com/How_The_5E3_Deluxe_Works.htm (https://robrobinette.com/How_The_5E3_Deluxe_Works.htm)
