Title: ampgarage - attack page?
Post by: drew on June 23, 2015, 10:51:51 pm
I know a lot of you guys also hang out over at ampgarage.com .  Is anyone else getting a "Reported Attack Page" warning (appears to be from Google) if you try to access the site today?

I'm aware they recently had some kind of issue with a malware attack, and there was mention of a Facebook page being set up.  I've managed to get this far in life without caving in and involving myself with Facebook, so I don't know if this latest issue has been brought to the attention of the guys that run the site or not.

I received the warning yesterday.

This thread on ampgarage appears to be talking about the problem, but I haven't read through it all yet to decide what I'll do about it.

I'm not sure if the administrators there are doing anything, yet.

 Edit:
Ok, I finished reading the thread.  The administrator is aware of the problem.  He believes he has repaired the damaged pages that contained the attack code.
Upgrading the BB software to a more recent version is a more involved issue, because of the local modifications made for posting pictures, etc.
