Title: Finished a build
Post by: pullshocks on June 29, 2015, 12:57:26 am
Been working on this one for quite a while.  Poplar body, rear loading to allow pickup changes without loosening the strings.  I have accumulated a bunch of pickups to try out.

Finish is a transparent white done with General Finishes water borne white wash stain and Enduro Var.

The neck is a Craigslist special that I did a fret level and recrown.  I need to shim the neck pocket and dial in the string height but it is playable

First up for pickups is a Dimarzio Fast Track 1 in the neck, an Bluesbucker in the bridge.  1 volume and 2 tone controls.

Thanks Tubenit.  It means a lot, hearing that from an accomplished builder like yourself.
