Title: Gibson GA-30RVT Power Switch Wiring
Post by: guitarrock04 on August 05, 2015, 10:18:55 pm
I'm hoping a fellow member can help with photos of original power switch wiring for a GA-30RVT. I went so far as to take 'before' photos so I could get everything back together the way it was. Things have sat around long enough, I've completely forgotten, and managed to lose the photos I had taken of the chassis. I'm struggling to make heads or tails of the lugs on the switch, and it does not match up with the schematic. Not sure what I'm missing, but I've spent too much time trying to sort it out and would appreciate any reference pics that someone might be able to provide.

Thanks in advance

Current photos attached. I believe the loose small gauge black wire goes to the fuse holder, along with one leg of the PT primary. I'm hung up on where the other PT leg is supposed to connect. The schematic shows it as tied to the same point as the two indicator light leads, but that just shorts when the switch is closed.

Any help appreciated
