Here is a little something I have been meaning to build so I finally did. It's a 4 and 8Ω dummy load box. It also has a line out (for my scope) and a speaker through too. Anyway, here it is...

I think I ended up with 50 bucks in the whole project. It was worth it to me as this is something I will use a lot...

Yeah that's worth it. That chassis looks great and has plenty of ventilation for the power R's :icon_biggrin:

Thanks for posting this. Very handy box for scope. Mine look all wonky as well like wires going everywhere. I have a chassis just right for this.

You could also use this as a line out box for live gigs or sessions. Plug amp into the front, speaker into the speaker, and line out to front of house console through a direct box.
or
use the line out to go to your wet amp, and use the level knob to control the signal to wet amp... If someone comes along and unplugs your speaker, no problem, you will go straight to load saving your amp...
