Title: Standel 25L15

Anyone here build a Standel amp like the 25L15?
I here there's a version that uses 6L6Gcs out there instead of the 807s

I think there are a few threads on the Standel, HPB has built one, and knows the amp really well, so you may want to PM him. There is really not much difference between the 6L6GC and 807, except the 807 needs a top cap, functionaly they are the same.

I have had the privilege of playing HBP's amp & better yet hearing him play thru it.  GREAT amp!  Fantastic tone to it.

I am a fan of Chet Atkins and have quite a few of his CD's. I thought HBP's amp with the Gretch he got, nailed that tone.
