I have been wondering if i should try a 2x12" Tweed cab for my finished 5F6A chassis.
I still have 4x10 in my mind as well. But i am thinking that a 2x12" would open up the headroom a little more.
But would i loose the compression of the 4x10 arraingement? Tough call. What do you think?
Look at these cabs.
Looks like Superb Craftmanship to me.

You went to some extra effort to make the chassis look authentic. Why would you even consider a 2x12?

Tough choices but either will be fine, I think you know? Plus you already have a 4x10" right? BTW - John is awesome. He's done some custom cabs for me and they came out super nice! My chassis' fit like a glove.

Yeah a 212 cab idea does defeat the entire process here. Just a thought.

Yes i already have a sweet sounding 410 cab. I went with Johns 5F6A head cab for a few reasons.
#1 As above i already have a loaded eminence 410 cab.
#2 I can try it out with other cabs whenever the mood hits me.
#3 If i ever sell the amp it may appeal to the Marshall guys, being basically the first Marshall circuit so to speak.
#4 If i ever sell it, shoot me and ask questions later. :think1:
