Title: harmonic energizer
Post by: thermion on November 12, 2015, 01:45:15 pm
Hey everyone, it's been a while...
I've been reading about the vintage harmonic energizer pedal made by systech, has anyone here used one or a clone thereof? It seems this unit looms large in Frank Zappa gear lore and was responsible for creating room-tuned controllable feedback when the tune called for it. I find that the TWA triskelion is loosely based on this rare circuit.
Anyone played/made/own one of these? Please share!

PM Jojokeo, I would think he would be familiar with it.  I remember the pedal.  Sort of a fuzz and auto Wah together.  Distorted the highs, but did not mix bass back in like modern overdrives do.

You looking for a schematic?

Howdy Ed, yep that's the one! I was thinking of piecing one together but wanted to "poll the audience" first.
You're right, I should reach out to jojo...thanks!
Anyone else own/ once own/ played through one of these?
