Title: Hoffman 5E1-5F1 Tweed Champ and 5F2A Princeton Turret Board

This is my first tube amp build. what speaker wattage would you recommend for 5F2A and also what should i stay away from?

The amp only puts out about 5 watts into a Jensen, Oxford, or CTS 8" alnico speaker, so almost any low power speaker made for guitar amps would be suitable.

I highly recommend a Weber 10A100. That's what my 5F2A variant pushes.

Lower cost alternative might be Weber Alnico Signature 10.

Light dope or no dope. 4 ohm impedance unless you're using upgraded output transformer.

Several cabinet makers offer 10" baffles for these amps, including Mojo.
