Title: Looking for Information on the Reeves Super 78
Post by: silverfox on January 20, 2016, 07:46:49 pm
I've researched for the past few days, the Reeves Super 78 and I'm beginning to reach the conclusion it is a, some how boosted HiWatt. I've seen a gut shot on Reevesamps.com and it even looks like a HiWatt, but cranked it don't sound like no HiWatt. Then again the clean is really nice and sounds rich in harmonic content.

I'm ready to start building a preamp for my power amp and leaning heavily in the direction of this or some sort of modded plexi HRM or Soldano. The nice thing about the Reeves is the clean channel. I've searched and found nothing in the way of schematics.

Any ideas?
