Title: Are the large Fender .01 ceramic caps good to use?
Post by: Mike_J on January 27, 2016, 09:01:53 am
Is there any magic in the large .01 ceramic caps Fender installed in the reverb and vibrato sections of their blackfaced and early silver faced amps? I have a few of them that were pulled from scrapped Fender boards.  If they are pretty good then I will probably use them.  Advantage to ceramic caps is you can't get the outside foil wrong.

Thanks
Mike

No magic. Just a so, so cap. Use them in the tremolo circuit.

Thank you.  From the pictures you posted the other day I think that will use up three or four of them.

Thanks
