Title: Quick Mojo759 Transformer question
Post by: plaidzebra on January 30, 2016, 11:38:36 am
Will the Mojo power transformer that Doug sells handle a 3 amp heater current draw that a 5U4G requires? I'd like to build a champ and use as many existing parts as I have available, and I have a spare 5U4G laying around.

Cool, is a 5U4G interchangeable with a 5Y3? Or would I have to worry about wiring anything differently?

Thanks! So just to confirm, I can use the coke-bottle 5U4G that Doug sells instead of a 5Y3 in a 5F1 champ, as long as I use the Mojo power transformer that he lists as the Mojo759?

The transformer page in Doug's on line store on each transformer there is a link (below) that when you click on it a new page comes up with all the specs to the transformers he sells.  :icon_biggrin:
