Hi there!

New amp. 30€ plus shipping.

I had done the usual safety works and after play it a bit i made some changes.

attached are the original and modded version.

Any conment will be welcome.

Hi there.


Been working in this amp and testing various configurations.


I get inspiration from Dave Hunter´s Two Stroke amp.

Looks like you have simplified the design considerably.
SS rectifier is cheaper and easier.

How does it sound?

Is a Weber Maggie, who is a clone of the Dave Hunter design.


The EF86 channel.... still working on the voicing. Is LOUDER, with a little early breakup.
With volumen dimmed, have too much bass, so i need to try something.
Maybe a switch to put a smaller coupling cap in line or maybe the same system i used for the cath-caps in the 12AX7.


I´ll give it a try in the next rehearsal of my band and come back to the working table.
