My shop had become a nightmare, stuff piled everywhere. :BangHead:
So I started to get it cleaned up and somewhat organized, still needs more work but I'm on the right track. :icon_biggrin:
I added some hanger brackets on my storage cabinet doors to hang cables/wires/test clip leads/alligator jumpers/power cords.
Added 2 magnetic stripes on my work bench front apron. They work pretty good IF on round shaft tools I slide the handle down onto the top of the strip AND put a square shaft screw driver (Sears Craftsman) on the ends. Now they don't go anywhere. :icon_biggrin:
Put a 12' x 24" shelf up on the wall and a shelf below it/above the center of my work bench for my oscilloscope and variac. The scope is up out of the way but I can reach up to adjust it with getting up out of my chair. :icon_biggrin:
I also hung a couple of brackets with a cork face to T-pin a schemo and a layout drawing just above what I'm working on. :icon_biggrin:
Here's a few pics;
