Where'd you get the verb RCA patch cords? They look nice.  :icon_biggrin:

Man those RCA patch cords are just some old stereo cords I had laying around.  I have a reverb tank mounted on my bench so I have something to test with.  Once the cabinet gets here from Mather I will use the stainless shielded stuff...

You won't be sorry building Doug's PR (If you are doing Doug's turret PR)...  Go slow and check everything as you go and it will work first time you fire it.  Good luck and we all want to see your build pics as you go.

Oh, I am using Dougs turret board build....everything ive ever done thus far was using the eyelet boards ( because the Fender layouts are so familiar).....but after seeing PR#0001-PR#0005 , and studying the crap out of Dougs PR build, I really wanted the turret board build. Ive been taking pics as I go, but since my builds take so long, I wasnt going to start posting pics til there was something to take a pic of.

mscaggs, what is your preference, eyelet or turret? I will not ask boxers or briefs.

I don't know I think it depends.  I like the turrets on the PRs but use eyelets on AB763 and Bassman builds.  One thing I know for sure is I like Doug's G10 boards way over the fiber boards...

With respect- when you sell these, are they marked in some way EXTERNALLY so as not to be confused with an actual Fender product? No, I'm not a cop, just curious as to how everyone handles this...I'll hang up and listen.

Well, I only sell the PR with PR faceplates to buddies so far.  Any others I put a blank on em, what they do after that is up to each person.  And yes they are marked clearly as clones or replicas as in no way am I pretending these are Fenders.

I visited and molested your FB page.   Looks cool, love your logo.  Reminds me of a lot of design I do as I love retro looking stuff.

Nice Ed!  I just put up that FB page.  Not a big fan of FB so hopefully it will reain a good place for amp stuff.  If it starts getting weird I will pull it fast.  Being a cyber security guy in a law office exposes me to what can and does happen on Facebook.

That's all I got to say about that...

I left a comment on your video.

Another top quality build that sounds beautiful!    :worthy1:
You play as great as you build!  Great job!

Shipped to a very satisfied customer, I'm sure.

Was your barn find client interested in making a trade-in deal?
I think he would be quite pleased with one of your top quality PR builds.   :icon_biggrin:

Heck, you probably could make one of my builds sound great!

Seriously you've got some impressive chops there. Amp sounds great. The owner must be delighted.

Cheers,
Chip

Hi,  Well first off, thank you...

I am not really setup to do online lessons and I really don't know where the time would come from to be honest.  I am a full time cyber security engineer and rookie amp builder.  I also play a few weekend a month at my church and have a great family too.  It's all a balance and somehow I make it work.

If you are ever in Nashville I will be happy to show anyone anything I know which won't take very long :)
