Title: WY3GT Copper Cap - Which resistor is inside ?
Post by: kagliostro on March 25, 2016, 03:09:27 pm
The spech of the Weber WY3GT Copper Cap say it gives the same voltage drop of a 5Y3GT, 50v @ 125mA

As known on the Weber Copper Caps there are diodes and drop resistor/s

Is correct to think a 400R (10W) resistor after a pair of diodes can be used ? (5Y3GT drops 50v @ 125mA) ?

I've a 325v-0-325v PT that has only a 6.3v winding (OK, 7v unloaded) and would like to know if I can use it in something like a 5F1

BTW which is the weight of a 5F1 PT ?

Grazie

Franco

Doug probably has that info for his transformer specs.
