Title: Old Bassman Cabinet for new Project
Post by: basschops1528 on April 19, 2016, 11:58:23 pm
Hey guys,

Picked up a "bassman" cabinet, or so the man says it is, with a 15'' speaker and no amplifier. It definitely wasn't tube because there's about a 3 in. gap between a flat lower panel and the top panel. Only a solid state setup would fit. Nonetheless, it would make a great project with some modification. I have a couple ideas in mind but would like some opinion. I could leave the 15'' in and build a fender style amp good for lap/pedal steel, OR make a new speaker baffle for 2 x 12'' and put in a Super Reverb. I kind like the first idea and at some point maybe build my own super reverb in a home made combo box.
