Great guitarist and vocalist!   And he seemed to have been a very humble individual.  Stevie Ray and Lonnie Mack together was great stuff!

When I was probably just starting high school, somehow my mom agreed to take me to a club to see Lonnie play. I did have an instructional video he'd done, but a big part of the draw for me was his association with SRV (I was a big fan at the time). I went and asked him to sign a photo of him & Stevie playing onstage while he was taking a break at the bar between sets... I feel bad in hindsight that the picture was in an SRV biography.

Anyway, he was nice to a punk kid.  :icon_biggrin:
