Is the output of a reverb tank greater, equal to, or less than a guitar's pickup output? I know this is a tricky question because it depends on how hard the tank is driven but generaly speaking how does the tank output signal compare to a guitar?
:think1: This isn't the main reason for my question but has anyone ever got some rca to 1/4 jack adaptors plugged a delay pedal in line between the reverb tank's output and the tank input on their amp? Wonder how'd that'd sound? :think1:

Try it. It would likely work well enough.

Try it.
In general, the reverb pickup level is lower than guitar pickup level. I would expect to want an adjustable boost 2X to 10X before going into guitar-cord effects, to get signal above universal hiss.
