Title: Princeton Reverb foot switch 1/4" jack wiring?
Post by: Clear Guy on June 20, 2016, 04:42:22 pm
I am rebuild my PR Reissue using the Hoffman AA1164 layout and trying to get the reverb send/return RCA jacks as well as the verb/trem foot switch 1/4" trs jack hooked up correctly. The 1/4" trs jack is what comes stock on the PRRI so I am just reusing it. Is there something else I am missing or have wired wrong here??

The jack on your drawing is not a TRS jack. The tremolo will connect to the tip. Reverb will connect to the ring. Sleeve will connect to ground.

Yeah my illustration was just a TS with a grounding switch but my jack is a TRS jack (stereo). I fixed it as well as the wire going from the reverb return (pos. RCA) to the tank output (ring) on the TRS jack then through the 220k resistor to ground (sleeve). Thx sluckey.
