Can some tell me the exact size of the Vox serial plate.

According to North Coast Music (http://www.voxshowroom.com/northcoast/referring/serial.htm) (where you can buy the plate ready for stamping), 3.25" x 4".

Must have missed that as it was their image I based my version on.
