Just wondering how everyone is doing things like adding capacitors to the bypass cap to test for heater to cathode leakage? I was previously just using jumpers to accomplish things like this but after taking a healthy dose of B+ from that I have decided to use a breadboard so I don't just have a resistor or something hanging there by jumpers. I realize a lot of this depends on being careful and I will still have jumpers coming from the breadboard but it will eliminate some danger. Any other things that have worked well for others, or things that haven't?

I've been safely using gator clip leads for over 45 years. Just be careful.
