Title: Custom Shop Vibro-King on the bench
Post by: TubeGeek on August 12, 2016, 04:48:41 pm
Dead reverb.

Found disconnected wire on reverb tank rca connector.  Simple fix.

Thought I'd share pics of this beast as it's not common.

That's quite the giant power transformer for a 40-watt Fender amp, looks substantially bigger than even a Twin.

The schematic says 1993.

The first thing I noticed were the huge PT.

The PT looks like a Hammond 290SX  which they list as a replacement for Fender Vibro King.      http://www.hammondmfg.com/pdf/EDB290SX.pdf (http://www.hammondmfg.com/pdf/EDB290SX.pdf)
