Title: OT for Mrshall JCM800 build
Post by: Oddvar on October 30, 2016, 06:37:16 am
Hi.  I was wondering what OT I could use in a Marshall JCM800 build.  I see on some comments that the actual output on the earlier models was close to 36w, not 50w for some reason.  I have a Weber OT that is rated 40w, could I use that?  Or any other suggsetions?

Which one? JCM-800 is a series of amps, not a single amp. Hoffman sells a 50 watt and a 100 watt Marshall style output transformer. Click the link at the bottom of this page.

Hoffman's 50W transformer would be perfect for that 2204.
