Hi,

Can anyone recommend the best replacement cap for the blue molded 1uf caps that are in Blackface Fender amps?

I never remove these caps unless they fail. I would think Jupiter cap would be OK but I don't see a 1uf or at least none that Doug has for sale.

The idea is to keep the tone as original as possible. Also does anyone know what the material the originals were made from?

Those caps are 0.1µF, not 1µF. See link...
