Using 2 balance R's on series caps, + acts as bleeder. 2 150k in series, tied to caps, B+ ~ 500vdc.
I'm using V-squared / 300,000, coming up with .83W, doubling, (for good measure) ~2W?

.83 watts is the total power for both resistors. Each individual resistor only dissipates .42 watts, so you really only need to use 1 watt resistors for safety.
Fender was fond of 220K/1W balance/bleeder resistors.

Use two watts just to be safe. I can see a case where one ties the R in series with the caps, and there is a node where two Rs and two Cs are wired together. Resistance then be comes a function of frequency, and one must use complex numbers to do the math. :sad2:
