AA864 turret board, which one to use? I don't see that particular turret board listed, is there one to use? I would rather turrets than eyelets if possible. Also, another question, how do i know which cap board? This is a dripedge silverface chassis feb 69, that was completely gutted except all the original iron, friend wants a 64-65 blackface made out of it. I have the original cap pan, i can fit the 6.5" board (large 2).

I don't make that board as a turret board, only as an eyelet board with the original fender parts layout
Fender layouts do not translate well to turret boards
Eyelets have much larger holes and Fender crammed more components into the eyelets holes than will fit in my turret lugs
Cap boards go by the number of filter caps the amp has
You just look at a fender schematic and count the filter caps

Well i should have rephrased the question. If there is no turret board available for this model, which eyelet board? I do not see a AA864 or AB165, only see a AA165, can this board be used for all 3 models? I'm hoping it can because i just ordered it. I only see a few changes, nothing major, between those 3 models. Thanks again.

I don't know
You would have to compare the two layouts and see if the eyelets are in the same place
Many Fender layouts are the same as another model
-
The AA864 and AB165 are different schematics and different layouts.

I can add the AA864 to my eyelet boards catalog page
Then you can just request that I drill it for lugs instead of eyelets
Hopefully you would not run into too many issues of not enough room for the parts in a lug hole
Why do you want turret board
Why don't you get the nice black epoxy board with eyelets?
They are way nicer than fiberboard

Here's the AA864 layout

Here's the schematic

Looks like the filter cap board is the standard 5 cap board with the first stage being two 350uf caps in series
I make that board and it is Filter cap board Large, shown on this page

I added the Bassman AA864 board to my catalog here

I already have the cap board and the bias board listed on the page above
Cap board large
Bias board 2

I think that's a very good addition to your boards. :icon_biggrin:
There have been a number of guys here building/repairing that amp. It seems to be popular.
