Title: I SHOULD KNOW THIS!!!!!! Separate bias winding.
Post by: Blind Lemon on January 10, 2017, 05:15:32 pm
Independent bias winding< ground one lead and the other is the supply? I am either brain farting or I have never run across this before.

I am thinking it is the first and not the second.  :think1:

Yes, if you will do a typical single diode supply.

Depending on the winding AC voltage and your desired bias voltage, you may need to use a full wave bridge. In this case you would not ground one of the winding leads.

It's a 95 volt winding so a one diode supply should do.

Thx
