Title: oscillation questions
Post by: 12AX7 on January 29, 2017, 11:24:03 am
1. can oscillation manifest as harder (in the attack) than normal and/or more hi mids?
2. is there any way to check for oscillations without a scope?

Thanks...

You can hear audible oscillation. You can't hear stuff above about 20kHz, or lower than about 20Hz. (I can't hear HF stuff above about 14-15kHz). For real HF stuff you need a visual instrument of some kind like a scope, or some kind of audible frequency shifter.
