I call it the Best-Of-24 because I'm picking from the various versions along the years. For example I'm using the dual-triode tremolo of the later years, but I'm keeping the grid-bias 1st channel (because I've never had an amp with grid-bias). Paraphase Inverter is from the later years but will experiment with the earlier version. And I'm sticking to single tone control (so not a "1624T Dual Tone"). Basically making the Led Zep 1 amp but with the improved trem and PI.
For now I'm still working on schematic, and recording my sessions in real time for those interested in a true real-time build vlog, along with me making mistakes or not knowing the answer to something!

Awesome stuff Snicksound. I was hoping someone would do something like this with the Supro.

For anyone curious, finally had time to build it:

Very nice demo!

I went on the youtube to see if you had any updates and man you nailed it. What beautiful amp, did you figure out how to slow it down a bit, I remember you wanting to do this

Hi: i watched your cabinet building video for this amp.... thanks for this, very useful

I replaced the cathode resistor with a LED on the oscillator and change tge 0.01uF cap to a 0.022uF. That worked, slowest speed works fine for me now!
Also made some tweaks to the trem channel to give it more headroom so it would work better with pedals, stufd that will make purists curl up and cry. Basically increased the local decoupling to a 10uF cap and replaced the 100k dropping resistor to a 15k (wasn't a fan of having less than 100v on the anode). Has a beautiful clean tone now, and the Grid Leak Bias channel still has all its Suproness (except the ceramic caps, they were too microphonic, will have to source better ones)

Very interesting and informative videos Nick. Its nice to be able to watch, look at a schematic, try to understand and learn a little more. Will make these changes on the schematic for us to compare? I like to have hard copies when Im trying to understand, see the changes visually on the circuit

Excellent job on the amp. It sounds great. How effective is the tone control? A demonstration of the tone roll off would be really cool.
