Title: Question abot Duncan Tone Stack
Post by: rockford on March 20, 2017, 09:28:32 pm
I was hoping to get some feedback on Duncan Tone Stack,  the AC30  model.  Can anyone verify if C1 is the bass cap,  and  C2  the middle cap ? Actually, it seems to have  2  C2,  but one is the treble.   Any advice would be appreciated.

On the Tone Stack Calculator Vox tab, C1 would be considered the "Mid" cap, and is in the same location electrically as C3 (0.047µF or 47nF) on the Fender tab.

C2 (0.022µF or 22nF) on the Vox tab is the "Bass" cap, and is in the same electrical position as C2 (0.1µF or 100nF) on the Fender tab.  Note this cap is in between the connected lugs of the Bass & Treble pots.

"C2" (47pF) on the Vox tab is the "Treble" cap, and is in the same electrical position as C1 (250pF) on the Fender tab.
