I've had this ago for years. Inherited from my G-pa. It's a '68. Not interested in doing any mods. Just going to recap it. Any suggestions for cap replacements? Hopefully that's what it takes to get the tremolo working, and eliminates the ground buzz I've got on the Reverb tank. :-D

Replace with same or near same capacitance values and same or greater voltage ratings.
Do you have a schematic?

Here's a schematic for the U320RB, not sure if it's the same, but it looks like several 20uF @450V pretty common easy ones to source. Doug's got some 20uF 500V sprague's or 22uF 450 F&T that shoudl work for that part.

Basically as Sluckey said, just get same or slightly higher capacitor ratings and voltage ratings and you'll be golden. (Not sure if the above schematic is right, and its a bit hard to read up top left.)
Edit: Here's a slightly more readable one: http://www.marshallforum.com/threads/univox-amps.11863/page-3 (http://www.marshallforum.com/threads/univox-amps.11863/page-3) see part way down the page.

Hi Can someone please re-post the Schematic for the Univox U320 ? I have the Lafayette combo version of this amp - a schematic would really help to restore this amp. Many thanks

My buddy has one of these he wants me to get running once I am done with his daughter's Gretsch 6159.
I have not looked at it at all yet. But if you have one on the bench and I do to should be interesting to compare notes.
cheers,
Jerry
