Hey guys, I don't know how many of you are Jeff Beck fans, but I've always really enjoyed his music since I first heard it in the early 90's as a very young man. I know he was active way before this, and has written a ton of fantastic music, so I'm not here to tell you this is his best stuff, but it kind of goes with some other discussions we've been having recently about guitar players and unorthodox techniques etc. Beck is a master of the Wammy bar IMO, and the way he uses it on this record is just top notch. He seems to reinvent his style or at least modify it for each record, and I really never get sick of his playing. It's still relevant and he's blowing people out of the water. This album is kind of industrial and strange, but there are some fantastic tracks and amazing playing as well as Imogen Heap doing some vocals on a couple! My favorite is "Loose Cannon" at about 17:46 .. love that cocked wah sound on the opening riff! Just thought I'd share, and hope you guys enjoy!

Jeff Beck is the man
I have been a fan of his since the late 60's
I watched this two part interview a couple weeks ago with Maguire
It was pretty good
More about his hot rod cars he built than guitars

I listened to his newest album, and for 72 or whatever he still shreds hard! I really don't like the vocals he got for the album, but his playing is top notch as always. He always seems to have the greatest producers for the industrial style tracks. I'm constantly impressed.

BTW, Loose Cannon was written by Jennifer Batten
