I've been out of the game for a while, but I'm itching to smell some burnt flux again. I built a 26 watt cathode biased amp years back and never got the VVR where I liked it. I remembered this discussed back then and thought I'd give it a try.

I have Da Geezer’s Bypass Cap attenuator. Look at page 3 of this pdf...
